The purpose of our group is very simple: we discuss and analyze ideas. The word "analyze/analytical" is not a reference to syllogistic, analytical philosophy, but rather stands for those who like to analyze and critique ideas. The format of GMOT is that a group comes together, has a short round of introductions, then a presenter offers several different viewpoints on a great question of theological/philosophical/ethical substance (for 10-15 minutes), and then we open it up for lively discussion.
